About the tour

A mountain route to two jade lakes

Jade Lake is a route for those who want to see the natural side of Uzbekistan: mountain trails, clear streams, turquoise water, silence and views that are impossible to feel in the city. The tour starts early in the morning, because the drive to the location takes around 4–4.5 hours. Upon arrival, guests switch to horses and head to the first lake, and then continue to the higher second lake.

A one-day route: early departure, scenic drive, horses, two lakes, rest and return to the city.

Departure from Tashkent

Early departure from the city. The drive to the location takes around 4–4.5 hours, so it's important to start in the morning to comfortably complete the full program and return to Tashkent by evening.

11:00–11:30

Arrival at the trailhead

Upon arrival, guests step out of the transport and switch to horses. The mountain part of the route then begins — with beautiful views, fresh air and a true nature atmosphere.

First lake

Horseback ascent to the first lake

The first section of the route is covered on horseback. At the first lake you can take a break, rest, have a snack, enjoy the view and get ready for the further ascent.

Second lake

Ascent to the upper lake

After the rest, the route continues toward the second lake, which sits higher up. The ascent is more challenging and takes more time, but the views and atmosphere are worth the effort: mountain streams, cliffs, crystal-clear water and a deep sense of solitude.

Lunch & rest

Free time at the lake

At the second lake there will be time to rest, take photos and enjoy lunch outdoors. Please note: guests need to bring their own food, snacks and everything needed for the picnic. We'll let you know in advance what to prepare for the trip.

After lunch

Descent & return

After the break, the descent begins back to the point where the transport will be waiting. Then you board the minivans / vehicles and head back toward Tashkent. Approximate arrival in the city: between 18:00 and 19:00.
